I'm a Communications and Entertainment Industry Professional and Educator.
I've worked as Producer, Performer, Internet Marketer, Photographer, Videographer and Model. I was a Radio Personality at the historic, but now defunct 103.9 & 98.3FM, KACE in Los Angeles, CA for six years, until it was sold and changed to Spanish language in Feb. 2000. I also worked under the name, Karla Antoinette, as a Radio Personality and Public Affairs Director at Virginia State University's 91.3 WVST with Program Director, Jerry Carter. I cut my teeth at Magic 99FM, Richmond, VA, then a brief stint at Hampton University's 88.1FM, WHOV, Hampton, VA. As a radio personality, I discovered that my curiosity served me well, as a consummate Interviewer of celebrities, musicians, authors, performers, community leaders and politicians on TV and radio. I've hosted, emceed and moderated numerous concerts, panels and comedy shows in Los Angeles, CA, where I worked at popular venues including the historic Shrine Auditorium, Maverick's Flat and The Comedy Store with Guy Torry's Phat Tuesdays! |

As a Career Substitute Teacher since 1982, I've taught students K-12 as well as adults, in Los Angeles, CA, Richmond, Chesterfield County and Petersburg, VA. I was motivated to compile a part of American History you see don't see in history books. "Willie Lynchism..." explains the origin of RACISM in America, why and how it was created to sustain American Slavery. It's a touchy subject, but because RACISM is still a vibrant part of America's DNA, we must talk about it and attempt to heal from it together. This book will help you understand the gradual, yet comprehensive indoctrination a little bit better. |
I'm a Marketer.
As a 1982 Howard University grad, with communications as my major, I became an Internet Marketer to prove that the Internet can work for anyone who is committed to learning how to use it to create Passive Income, online. In 1999, I embarked on a serious journey to learn Internet Marketing and Sales as an online pioneer, using the Storesonline.com platform. After years of serving over thousands of online customers, I learned to cut through the crap and focus on the pertinent aspects of the ever evolving, digital marketing strategies of the Internet. It's now Feb. 2022, and the online game has changed dramatically! We've been in a global pandemic since March 2020 and brick & mortar businesses have finally learned to appreciate the value of their online real estate. Keeping their information current has been critical to maintain their business! As a Yext Certified Partner, I knew it was important for small businesses to update their free Business Listings and to make Data Management a priority. Many didn't and suffered the consequences during the pandemic. |

Mother Love, Karla With a K and James Brown at 103.9 & 98.3FM, KACE, in Los Angeles, CA. Cox Radio owned the station, at this time. We were one of the few R&B formatted stations in Los Angeles to be become a union shop. AFTRA ushered KACE into its fold and I was elected twice to represent Radio Announcers on the AFTRA Board of Directors, for the Los Angeles Local. The two terms, totaled six years from 1999-2005. During that time, we were ultimately victorious in a tough labor fight between AFTRA, Stand Up comedians and BET. Comedian Michael Colyar became the first Talk Show Host on BET who was signed to host an AFTRA signatory program, L. A. Live!
